The Slovakian students arrive in Jumilla

In October we were hosts for a few days of our peers from Slovakia. They  visited our landmarks, such as the Castle, the Monastery of Santa Ana and  the parks and museums. Together with our English teachers, Pepa and Toyi, we travelled with the Slovakian visitors to the beautiful city of Valencia, where we had the opportunity to have a bath since the weather that day was wonderful. Cartagena also amazed them, specially the guided tour to the Roman Theatre. And we can not forget to mention how much they loved the visit and olive oil testing at the BSI Winery.

We lived unforgettable moments in  the esparto workshop, developed by the local artist Laly, where we could learn the ancient technique of braided. Some other activities were carried out at the high school library too, like the workshop of traditional Spanish games.

We are looking forward now to travelling to their country and meeting with them again. See you in April, friends!
